Vaginal atrophy occurs through the natural aging process, by childbirth or as the result of certain cancer treatments. The vaginal wall thins and natural elasticity and lubrication are reduced. Patients dealing with vaginal atrophy, also called atrophic vaginitis, may experience these symptoms.
Dr. Samuels utilizes the versatile CO2RE fractional laser to promote a natural regeneration process that’s similar to laser treatments performed on delicate facial tissue.
