Renuvion gently produces dramatic results for a previously unobtainable level of nonsurgical improvement.  For our facial rejuvenation patients, Renuvion is an excellent minimally invasive alternative to traditional surgical facelifting.  Renuvion can be performed under local or IV sedation or a light general anesthetic, with or without liposuction of the jowls and neck.  Renuvion is a single in-office minimally invasive treatment producing immediate results that continue to improve for several months as your skin tightens and your body produces more collagen.

RENUVION™ DUAL THERMAL EFFECT™

The Renuvion device uses a gentle radiofrequency waveform to convert an inert gas into a cold plasma. Helium is used to convert to a plasma with very little energy. The result is an energy unique in its ability to provide tissue heating and cooling almost simultaneously.

UNIQUE HEATING AND COOLING

When Renuvion is used under the skin, the combination of gas and electric energy creates an effect that both heats and cools the tissue at the same time, delivering an effective tightening result. This process does not harm the surrounding tissue, and makes an excellent option for those who want to tighten the skin of the face, chin, neck, abdomen and other areas.

After local anesthesia is administered, Dr. Samuels inserts a slender wand into small incisions of the treatment area. The controlled plasma energy is then applied directly beneath the surface of the skin, heating up to 85 degrees and immediately tightening the skin while stimulating tissue for the continued production of collagen. Within moments of the tissue being heated, the remaining helium gas jet cools the tissue, preventing the tissue from burning.

Renuvion can be done on both the face and the body. Common location choices for a Renuvion skin tightening procedure are:
