Fractional CO2 Laser Treatment of the Vaginal Canal and External Labia for Symptoms of Vulvo-Vaginal Atrophy in Postmenopausal Women

Educational Needs:
New applications of laser in genito-urinary syndrome of menopause (GSM), stress urinary incontinence (SUI), and lower female genital tract.

Participants:
Gynecologists, Urologists, and other health care professionals who are interested in menopausal medicine (such as endotrinologists, G.P., internal medicine, physiotherapists, nurses and professionals interested in women’s health issues. Scientists/engineers with special interest in the design of laser delivery systems.

Background Requirements:
Physicians, nurses, engineers, writers/journalists (the media) with special interest in Women’s Health issues.

Instructional Content/Expected Learning Objectives:
It is expected that participants will receive scientific information on cutting edge technologies to treat age related female lower genital tract issues. These new technologies replace controversial hormonal treatments and other related solutions.
