Votiva is an in-office procedure that can help solve issues related to vaginal childbirth, aging and the results of some chemotherapies. Votiva FractoraV is a handheld vaginal device allowing precise control and delivery of radiofrequency energy to address the specific areas of concern. The device is designed with a series of tiny pins that are gently inserted into the vaginal wall releasing a radiofrequency current which creates a tiny thermal ablative injury to the lining as well as simultaneous heating which creates a tightening effect. FractoraV is specifically designed for the vaginal canal and allows treatment of the walls, ceiling and floor of the vaginal vault.
What You Can Expect During Treatment
Patients can expect to feel a mild heating sensation during treatment. While results can be felt and seen immediately after your first treatment, most patients benefit most from a series of 3 treatments. Depending on the intensity of your treatment there is little to no downtime.
