Using yellow and orange lights, the LEDs around the sapphire plate illuminate unwanted vessels to allow precise targeting and treatment. Laser pulses are absorbed by the unwanted vessels, closing them and preventing them from returning. The vessels are then eliminated naturally by the body over time. ClearV is appropriate for all skin types (Fitzpatrick I – VI). Patients have no downtime and may resume daily activities immediately following treatment.
Before treatment, you will be asked to remove your make-up or moisturizer and, if needed, shave the area to be treated. Anesthetic cream or ice is not needed.
Your eyes will be protected with safety shields or glasses. The ClearV handpiece will deliver precise laser energy to the area being treated. You may feel a brief warm or hot sensation as laser pulses are absorbed by the unwanted vessels. The ClearV procedure may take 5-30 minutes depending on the size of the treatment area.
After a ClearV treatment, the unwanted visible microvessels and resistant subsurface vessels fade over time, becoming less noticeable. Broken capillaries, spider veins, vascular lesions and more are gently eliminated.
