If your concern is superficial or deep scars, stretch marks, melasma, hyperpigmentation or photodamage, fine lines or deep set wrinkles, Fraxel laser treatments can give you the skin you desire. Fraxel laser systems treat microscopic columns of skin, leaving healthy, untreated skin bridges for faster healing. These microscopic treatment zones (MTZs) penetrate to the precise height and width necessary to achieve your desired results.
The number of treatments sessions will vary depending on your skin concern and the severity of the condition. Treatments are spaced apart appropriately and optimal results are visible in approximately 2-3 months post-treatment.
The different Fraxel handpieces allow us to select the best one or combination for specific concerns. The Fraxel 135 is characterized by its small spot size of 135 micrometers which is able to penetrate deep into the tissue to generate an effective formation of new collagen and skin tightening. This makes it especially suitable for treating deep acne scars, wrinkles and more intensive skin firming. The Fraxel 600 enters only the top layer of skin where 90% of pigment is located, making it ideal for age spots and sun spots while improving skin texture and quality.
